In light of increased environmental awareness worldwide, Toyota has become a household name thanks to its hybrid car, the Prius, which has been in production for over a decade. After enjoying many years of success with the  Toyota Prius, they are ready to branch out with a couple of Prius variations this year. Earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Toyota unveiled the Prius V, which is more spacious for both passengers and cargo. This MPV is projected to net 42 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

Toyota has a lot of potential in this upcoming motor show, as it is taking the opportunity to target a couple of major audiences: those who appreciates the hybrid concept yet want the performance of a sports car, and the drivers who are looking for not only a family-friendly vehicle but also an environmentally-friendly vehicle.
